John attained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the top-ranked University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he specialized in structural and geotechnical engineering. He has over 7 years of experience working under the direct supervision of various licensed structural engineers on construction projects ranging in size from single-family residences to multi-story commercial buildings. He understands structural engineering concepts so well that he innovated a revolutionary series of rigid, hardtail, and full-suspension bicycle, tricycle, and quadricycle frames for which he has had a pending U.S. utility patent since November 4, 2022. What’s unique about his frames is that they all include at least one additional primary member that gives them unparalleled strength-to-weight ratios, which reduces the occurrence of structural failures; simplifies assembly, which reduces fabrication costs; and allows them to be easily disassembled, which minimizes shipping costs; facilitates traveling with them; and allows them to “grow” with the rider, be easily customized to fit the rider, be easily converted from one type of frame to another, and be easily repaired, all in an extremely cost-effective way.
